SOCIETY REGISTRATION

SOCIETY REFERS TO AN ASSOCIATION OF INDIVIDUAL WHEN TWO OR MORE PERSONS COME TOGETHER FOR A COMMON PURPOSE OR FOR CHARITABLE CAUSE. THESE ARE MOSTLY FORMED FOR THE FOLLOWING CHARITABLE PURPOSE

  1. PROMOTION OF FINE ARTS
  2. MAINTENANCE OF LIBRARIES
  3. PROMOTE EDUCATION
  4. KNOWLEDGE
  5. GRANT FOR CHARITABLE ASSISTANCE
  6. MAINTENANCE OF MUSEUM
  7. LITERATURE
  8. ANY OTHER CAUSE AS MAY BE APPROVED BY THE GOVERNMENT.

MINIMUM SEVEN MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO INCORPORATE A SOCIETY. THESE SOCIETIES ARE GOVERNED BY THE SOCITIES ACT, 1860.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR SOCIETY REGISTRATION

  1. PAN CARD OF ALL THE MEMBERS.
  2. ADDRESS PROOF OF ALL THE MEMBERS I.E.
    1. AADHAR CARD
    2. BANJ STATEMENT
    3. VOTER ID
    4. DRIVING LICENSE
    5. PASSPORT
  3. MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION
  4. ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION
  5. COVERING LETTER WHICH DESCRIBES THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY FOR WHICH IT WILL BE FORMED.
  6. COPY OF PROOF OF REGISTERD OFFICE ADDRESS OF THE SOCIETY.
  7. LIST OF ALL MEMBERS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE GOVERNING BODY.
  8. DECLARATION BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE SOCIETY.

ALL THE DOCUMENTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN SUBMIITED IN ALONG WITH THE PRESCRIBED FEE IN 2 COPIES. AFTER SUCCESSFULL VERIFICATION, A INCORPORATION CERTIFICATE SHALL BE ISSUED BY THE REGISTRAR.
